Saw this image “floating around” Facebook yesterday and it neatly sums up the rather isolated stance we are choosing to take as a nation. I think strictly the U.K. should be labelled as GB and then Northern Ireland would be alongside Turkey.
I saw it the same day that a story broke concerning the government’s refusal to recognise the EU Ambassador with full diplomatic status. It is almost as if the government is hard wired to reject the niceties of the past and deny any status or sign to the EU out of sheer bloody mindedness!!
