I cannot think I have ever wanted to write that phrase since 2016 but it appears his relentless drive to “call foul” has cost his party the Georgia elections and thus control of the senate.
One wonders what the outcome may have been had his line been more generous and based on the call to “elect republicans to protect my legacy”, but he could not say that as it is to admit defeat.
